I'm not a wedding photographer who also does 3-hour "elopement" packages. My entire business revolves around those couples who are ditching "everything is bigger in Texas" wedding traditions for a more intimate experience that reflects their love and interests.
Sounds counterintuitive, but this is my advantage! I don't thrive in 300 person guest lists - I thrive in that little weekend getaway or small ceremony you're planning. I don't thrive with huge wedding parties and a crowded schedule - I thrive when I can intentionally spend time getting to know, serving, and loving on a couple with undivided attention. I'll pose you for a cool portrait AND hang back for you to soak in every moment.
Some photographers only shoot ONE kind of wedding (or tax bracket). I say heck with the tradition and welcome ANY and ALL ideas to the planning process. Want to play retro video games and shotgun some beer in your veil? I'm there. Want to have a emerald green wedding dress? Sign me up. There is no limit to your personality and creativity when eloping.
